MVP Sports Clubs opens NEW facility in The Villages, Florida!

MVP Sports Clubs has entered into an agreement with The Villages LLC, to operate and manage The Villages Wellness Center in Lady Lake, Florida. The 35,000 square foot Wellness Center located in The Villages Spanish Springs Town Square, will be renamed MVP Athletic Club with the transition taking place over the next few weeks. MVP Sports Clubs will begin full operations of the facility on August 16, 2010.

MVP Athletic Club will be a membership-based facility offering the latest in health and fitness to The Villages community. Membership will feature NEWFIT orientation sessions with a certified personal trainer, state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, one-on-one personal training, group personal training, complimentary group exercise classes including Group Power, Group Ride, Group Active, Yoga and Zumba; complimentary towel service; men’s and women’s locker rooms including free daily lockers; sauna facilities and massage treatment areas.

MVP Sports Clubs manages seven sports and fitness facilities throughout Florida and Michigan, totaling over 23,000 members. Facilities include RDV Sportsplex (362,000 sq. ft.) in Orlando (FL); MVP Sportsplex (96,000 sq. ft.), MVP Metro Club (23,000 sq. ft.) and MVP Fieldhouse (49,000 sq. ft.) in Grand Rapids (MI); MVP Athletic Club (102,000 sq. ft.) in Holland (MI); MVP Athletic Club (103,000 sq. ft.) in Rockford (MI) and MVP Sports Spot (85,000 sq. ft.) in Kentwood (MI).
