For decades, researchers have conducted studies to determine the best strategy for people to lose weight. The two contenders compared, more often than not, are different types of exercise and diet plans. Following in this trend, a study recently published in the Journal of Applied Physiology and conducted at Saint Louis University shows evidence that although similar amount of weight loss is achieved on either plan, exercise helps lose more fat than dieting alone.
