Massage Therapy

Benefits

Research shows that massage therapy improves functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems and may improve the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness.

Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, stress and to promote health and wellness. Our licensed massage therapists apply manual techniques and if desired by the client, may also use the additional modalities listed in this brochure for an extra charge. All manual techniques and additional modalities are applied with the intention of positively affecting the health and well being of the client.

What type of massage therapy is best for you? Massage therapy comes in many forms and all of our massage therapists consult with each client to customize the massage to meet that person’s needs. Generally speaking, our one hour treatment sessions address the whole body. The depth of pressure and types of massage techniques used during your session are formulated specifically for you during the consultation.
